Most first time visitors choose an Easy Rider tour. You still enjoy the open mountain roads and views, while a local driver handles the riding so you can fully relax and take everything in.
Three or four days is the sweet spot for most people. Two days works if you’re short on time, while four or five days (especially when combining with Cao Bang) lets you slow down and see more.
Riding it yourself isn’t ideal if you’re new to mountain roads. With DeepTour’s Easy Rider option, beginners can still enjoy the full experience safely without needing to drive.
Only if you want to ride yourself. As a passenger on our Easy Rider tours, you don’t need a license. We’ll always double check the details with you before the trip.
September to November and March to April usually offer the most comfortable weather and clearest views. October is a particularly good all-round month.
We work with small groups, experienced local guides, flexible itineraries and authentic stays in homestays and villages. We’re more interested in safety and making a real connection with the area than rushing through the highlights.
Yes. We offer 4 day and 5 day itineraries that link the Ha Giang Loop with Ban Gioc Waterfall and the landscapes of Cao Bang, a great way to see more of the far north in one trip.
Most of our Ha Giang tours finish back in Ha Giang City. The combined tours end in Cao Bang. In both cases we can help arrange your onward bus or an extra night if you need it.
